Besides running Untrash Creative Reuse, what else do you do with your time?

I’m a longtime writer; I currently work part-time in Communications for a local city government after freelancing for more than 20 years for the Dallas Morning News and other local publications such as Dallas Child and Dallas Family.

How did you get started:

When blogging became popular, I created a parenting blog called “Uncool Mom” and once my kids grew up, I dreamed about writing a blog about reuse and repurposing and calling it “Untrash”.  Around this same time (2015-16), I learned about creative reuse centers and dreamed about starting one of those, too. (Reusing/repurposing in all sorts of ways is my major interest/passion, whether it’s transforming cast-off materials into a work of art, giving new lives to abandoned animals, or turning leaves, coffee filters, and fruit rinds into compost!) 

After lots more dreaming, filing away ideas, and listening to that small, steady voice inside that kept on saying, “You need to do this!”, the Untrash blog finally became a reality in early 2021 and Untrash Creative Reuse opened in March 2023, at the time the only creative reuse center within 40 miles of Dallas. I was thrilled to get a spot inside the Cottonwood Market in Richardson, as its steady influx of customers and eclectic mix of not just antique dealers but also artists/crafters seemed like a great place for my shop—plus, their front desk staff takes care of checkout for all the Market’s many businesses, so I can keep my day job while my shop stays open without having to be responsible for staffing it.

What would you say was instrumental in helping you with your small business?

Crucial to helping me get started was the free mentoring provided by SCORE Dallas (a division of the Small Business Administration); the free resources provided online and in person are amazing! I kept my ideas for starting a creative reuse center mostly to myself all those years, and getting feedback and advice from bona fide business professionals was encouraging and invaluable. 

Could you please tell us what a creative reuse center is?

It’s a type of business, sometimes run as a nonprofit, that’s been around for decades but has increased in popularity and locations across the country over the past 20 years. Creative reuse centers generally share a purpose of helping the environment by keeping “pre-loved” materials with creative potential out of the landfill and selling them at a low cost and/or giving them to schools and nonprofit arts groups to be reused and upcycled, hopefully again and again. Materials are taken in on a donation basis; everything is usually weighed to let the community know how many pounds are being diverted from the landfill. 

Not many people have ever heard of reuse centers before, is there anything else we should know about them?

In addition to sorting, packaging, and offering the pre-loved craft supplies back to the public in some type of shop format, many creative reuse centers offer workshops and classes on ways to use the materials. 

The actual “centers” range from online shops and pop-ups at outdoor flea markets to giant, stand-alone “brick-and-mortars”. The Dallas area now has two creative reuse centers—my Untrash Creative Reuse is in Richardson on the North Dallas border near Coit and Beltline; Pegasus Creative Reuse can be found at Tyler Station in Oak Cliff. Not too far from Dallas is The Welman Project in Fort Worth, at which any teacher from a public or nonprofit private school can shop for FREE, and there’s Thistle Creative Reuse in Denton!

What types of materials do you offer at Untrash Creative Reuse?

I offer a lot of the same categories of materials that other creative reuse centers offer such as fabric, yarn, thread, patterns, and other supplies for sewing, knitting, embroidery, cross stitching, needlepoint, weaving, macrame, etc.

There are also: crayons and colored pencils; beads, cording, metal findings, and other jewelry-making supplies, various paper, paints, multi-media art; floral arranging/and some office and school supplies. There are also vintage items such as buttons, sewing baskets, photos, postcards, picture frames, and more! Yet another reason why my business feels at home at an antique mall! I also offer items made by artists who use repurposed materials in their creations—such as bowls made from LP records, earrings fashioned from Barbie shoes, and coasters created from board games—and I’m always on the lookout for new items to feature! 

What are your future dreams/goals for Untrash Creative?

I want to expand my current space. The support from the general community and the creative reuse community has been so positive from day one, and my storage unit is bursting with great items waiting to “come out and play” 😊!

Do you see any other forms of creative outlets that we could benefit from?

I want to plan more workshops and crafting circles. Untrash-sponsored events are held in a variety of places in the area and are driven by whatever items I’ve received in large quantities. I’d love to come up with ways to use them all!

Meet Jody Truly of Truly Pottery! I got to sit down with Jody and talk to her about her beautiful pottery. She is a kindred soul who loves creating art while appreciating the importance and beauty of the community it brings.

What got you started in making the pottery you make?

I got started 7 years ago. I actually took pottery in college, but it wasn’t right for me at the time and I didn’t really like it too much.  It wasn’t until later when I took a class with my daughter that I knew it was for me and now I can’t see not doing it.

I’m self-taught and realized that learning about pottery is a lot of trial and error, especially lots of error.

How did you start selling your pottery?

I started selling to friends at first. It has been slow growth but I’m a busy mom of 2 and this works for now. Maybe there will be more growth later but I’m not sure yet.

What are your favorite pieces to make?

Vases, candles, bowls, mugs, and trays

This makes me wonder if readers know the different pieces you make. Pottery isn’t just making vases. Can you tell me some other items you’ll have at the Jingle Bash?

What’s something you think readers don’t know about making pottery?

You can make pottery without having a potter's wheel. I make a tray that doesn’t need to be spun on the wheel.

There are also books on slab building, hand building, coil rolling, etc. Some pieces can even be dried in the oven.

**A word of advice from Jody was to check for classes in your area!

I noticed some of your designs are etched, is that a special process?

This is one of my favorite things to do. Carving on clay and making designs. The clay even has a leather texture that’s just right for it.

This is your first year at the Jingle Bash. What are you looking forward to most?

Talking to people in my booth and seeing what they buy from me and where it is going. It’s about connecting and sharing stories with people. I’m looking forward to being there!

Cedars Open Studio Tour

The Cedars neighborhood transforms into an open studio art tour, where visitors can explore exhibits, live music and performances showcasing the work of over 100 Cedars Artists in studios, galleries, businesses, and public spaces across the neighborhood. Studio tours are followed by a closing reception at 6pm.

The day-long event is FREE and open to the public in the historic Cedars neighborhood just south of downtown Dallas, TX. There will be free transportation around the neighborhood, and you can join Bike Friendly Cedars for a pedal-powered tour in the morning.

Etsy Dallas Jingle Bash

The Etsy Dallas Jingle Bash is a curated 100% handmade artisan shopping event featuring unique, handmade goods. Shop from over 80 artists offering original art, home goods, and artisanal soaps, to local jewelry designers, leather workers, and so much more.

This event is presented by the Dallas Craft Collective a 501(c)(6) non-profit association of creative entrepreneurs. Founded in 2007, our focus it two-fold - to help support and spread the word about the amazing handmade makers in the DFW area and to share and teach the community about the handmade movement.

Artist Spotlight: A Brittain Studio

Meet Amber Brittain of A Brittain Studio. Amber takes sewing to a new creative level with the assortment of bags she makes and the array of items she sews herself. Her love of sewing came full circle in 2020. While she picked up the hobby as a therapeutic outlet, it launched her into eventually leaving her full-time job, and we are all the more lucky to welcome her!

We are based in Wylie, TX, and though we do not have a storefront, we offer online services. You can also ship with us in person at various markets. 

What do you make/create?

We make handmade bags and eco-friendly products. 

What do you feel sets you apart and makes your pieces special?

I feel like our products are a great mix of practicality and style. We do our best to create products that are not only cute but very practical. We want our products to help make your life a little easier and a little cuter.  

What led you to start sewing?

My mom and grandmother taught me to sew at a young age and it’s just something I’ve stuck with. 

I’m sure you’ve overcome some hurdles with your business. So far, what would you say has been your biggest success?

Hmmm…I’m not sure. Honestly, the fact that I’m in my third year as a small business owner feels like a success in its own right. Being a business owner is not for the faint of heart for sure. 

As far as products go, our paperless towels have been the stand-out star. When we first started them, we began by creating just a few packs for ourselves and figured we would try them at the studio, but man they blew up larger than we could have imagined!

We’ve also designed a few bags from scratch. Our diaper clutch crossbodies took a lot of trial and error, but I was able to finally design a bag that did everything we wanted. These bags are unique to just us. We have a few more A. Brittain exclusives that have been designed and hopefully will launch in 2025, but being as it’s only me sewing, we will have to see. 

What about challenges? What’s been your biggest challenge thus far?

In being a small business and a handmade one at that, so much of running the business is based on me. Finding that balance of trying to do it all, and still enjoying what I do so I don’t burn out. 

What is your favorite product that you create, and why is it your favorite?

I know it’s probably cliche, but I love everything I create. Some are easier to make than others, but I love having a variety of things to make. If I get bored or too frustrated with a certain product, I can take time away and work on something else. 

What can we look forward to seeing at your booth this year?

This year you can see a lot of your usual favorites, like our paperless towels and small bags, but this year we have focused on offering some of our bigger style bags at shows, so make sure you check out our corduroy backpacks!

What do you love most about running your business?

It’s a great excuse to go fabric shopping.  I love lots of little things about running my business like being my boss, setting my hours, and meeting all sorts of new people at shows. 

As far as Jingle Bash goes, what is the best gift we need to buy from your booth? 

Our paperless towels are our number one seller at Christmas. They are a perfect size and price point for most people. They make great stocking stuffers, and they come in a ton of prints so you can get each person on your list a gift as unique as them.

Meet Linsey of Mesa Blue Jewelry! Linsey established Mesa Blue in 2009 while attending Texas State University. Growing up in El Paso she would shop at thrift stores with her mom to buy unique vintage jewelry, which she would deconstruct and redesign. She inherited her passion for stones and minerals from her dad, The Rock Hunter. Today she uses her love of natural materials and timeless designs to create each piece in her Dallas area studio.

Trends We're Falling for this Season

Does the change of seasons make you giddy?  For us, it's not just the change of temperatures (which in Texas basically means 98 down to 56; from tank tops to sweater sets and combat boots) but also changes in the skies, the quality of the light, and even the songs of the birds in the yard.

Small business makers are already elbow deep in preparations for fall shows, followed by winter and holiday shows...and quickly into Valentines and Mother's Days.

Some folks will spend a lot of time thinking about trends, while others not as much.  Even when an artist has created a recognizable style, sometimes they struggle to find inspiration or just want to augment their current line with something different, new, and fun.  Some are even up for a bit of a design challenge!  

That's where trends can come into the picture and provide inspiration and a helpful jumping off point. We’ve been seeing and hearing a lot about the following and think they’re trending up this fall season.

Jewel Tones - are back.  Did they ever go away? All the possibilities for fall; neutrals, earth tones, or tonal black and whites, I am very glad to know that rich blues, deep greens, and ruby reds are back on the radar for the coming few months. 

Dried Florals - trending in many directions, from the obvious (use in wreaths, bouquets) to jewelry and accessories (dried inside of resin).  Grasses are hotter than flowers at the moment.  Think of the giant 1970's pampas grasses in a vase that your cool friend's mom might have had. 

• Especially trendy are natural branches - they last a long time, have a super organic and chaotic/ casual vibe and are readily available.  (note:  Please try to cull from branches that are already abundant and ask before helping yourself to neighbor's trees or shrubs)

• Metal leaves - oak, maple and olive leaves cut out from thin guage copper or brass, affixed to wreaths and swags using thin craft wire.  Long lasting and not hard to make.

• Simple wood, ceramic, or concrete cast bases with straight-sided glass tube or small vase to hold bundles of dried flowers, grasses, weeds, or herbs

Needle felting - on canvas and off.  How frankly magical is creating tiny creatures with wool roving and a sharp needle?

Machine tufting - Graphic designers who have been craving a way to make their canvases come to life as rugs, throws, and pillow covers - take note!  Classes have been popping up all over; most recently as a workshop at the Creative Arts Center in East Dallas.

Upholstery - A very good thing to know about, but a bit hard to learn at home.  If you can find a class offered at a community college or Makers Space, there's a good chance you can save thousands in recovering and even re-selling lovely old furniture that gets tossed out on the curb regularly.  Some interior designers offer this at their own spaces too.

Pottery - This trend has gotten so strong that there has been an uptick in studios and places to learn, make and grow your abilities. Classes can be found every day of the week at the Creative Arts Center, the Craft Guild of Dallas, Blue Goat Studios, and at FCS Clayworks in Garland.  Plus most junior colleges also offer a wide array of courses.

Macrame - In a field full of fiber-related trends, this one is a fairly specialized skill set. There are some great books out there to teach this craft but know you’ll need some patience.

Paper Flowers - Hello, 1974!  Anyone remember making these in the Girl Scouts?. There are so many different ways to make paper flowers and so many applications for them. If you're building an ofrenda for Dia de los Muertos, you'll want to get your hands on the stretchy kind of crepe paper that you'll recall from school bulletin boards and order it in various shades of yellow and orange to recreate the marigolds, a flower with connections to death.

Meet Michael Lawson of Atomic Wood Designs! We had a blast getting to know Michael and his amazing art.

Tell us about the products you make.

Vibrantly colored 3d wood art, hand carved & machine carved.  We also engrave board games, ornaments, and home goods!  

What is your favorite product that you create?

I do a series of female faces "Daughters of the Sun, Moon, Wind, and the Androids Daughter" those are probably my favorite.

Is there a story behind your business name?

I'm a nerd, I like 50s sci-fi, and well, I wasn't clever or self-centered enough to just use my name.  I'm actually super introverted.

What does your art-making process look like?

Each piece of art is meticulously fawned over, cussed at, and ultimately after many revisions, presented as a finished piece of work.  There is much love, and not a small measure of hate in each piece representing frustration and just enough of my personal approval to be fit to be viewed by other people.

Is your shop offering anything new/special/different at the Bash?

Featuring Olive wood carved chess boards this show!  I've made 5 special ones get them while they're.. uh.. wood!

What led you to start your business? How did you get started and how the journey has been so far?

If 2020 taught us anything, it's that sitting at a desk and making the bare minimum of money to support and sustain a minimum lifestyle just wasn't for everyone.  Now I accomplish nearly the same result but instead of sitting at a desk, I make art instead!

How did you get to where you are today? How long did it take?

Years and miles, but I think of myself as more of a 1998 Honda Civic Coupe: Cypress Green Pearl paint. Sure the check engine light is on, the tires need rotating, and there's a petrified fast food fry in the back seat, but I'll get to point B with no problem. You're not arriving in style, the AC is on the fritz, but I'm nimble in traffic!

What was first item you ever made/sold?

I sold my first piece to a chap at the Dallas Irish festival, and he promptly dropped and broke it.  I have learned since that moment to bring bubble wrap.

What makes your pieces special?

Having done this for some years now, it is still surprising that people don't understand that when I put something on display it's not just a piece of artwork, it's also a piece of my taste, and being an introvert and not insubstantial piece of my feelings of acceptance and hope of connection.  This got really deep all of a sudden.

Describe your workspace. We’d love to see a photo!

I work in a workshop that's a mix between organized chaos, and chaotic evil chaos.  Adding pictures might get an OSHA violation.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve received as an artist?

Marry up, you need a partner who makes money or you'll starve.

What do you love most about running your business?

Working with the public would be great if it wasn't for all the people.  - an introvert's proverb.

DIY Pumpkin Flower Arrangements: Bringing Autumn's Beauty Indoors

The air turns crisp, leaves paint the streets with hues of red and gold (at least we can hope it will in Dallas), and the scent of pumpkin spice fills the air—it's autumn, the season of cozy gatherings and creative crafts. One delightful way to embrace the fall spirit is by crafting a stunning floral arrangement nestled within a hollowed-out pumpkin. It's a unique centerpiece that captures the essence of the season. In this step-by-step guide, we'll show you how to transform an ordinary pumpkin into a captivating floral centerpiece that will undoubtedly be the star of your next gathering.

To get started, make sure you have the following supplies ready:

• A Medium-Sized Pumpkin: Choose a pumpkin that's in good shape, with no soft spots or blemishes.

• Flowers: Opt for a mix of fall blooms in various colors and sizes. Think chrysanthemums, mums, and marigolds, or roses in seasonal colors.

• Foliage: Gather some greenery like eucalyptus or even herbs like lavender or basil to add texture and volume.

• A Sharp Knife and Spoon: You'll use these to hollow out the pumpkin.

• Floral Foam: This will help secure your flowers in place.

• Floral Shears: These are handy for trimming stems.

• A Small Container or water-tight plastic bag: You'll use this to hold water for your arrangement.

Set up a clean, well-lit workspace where you can comfortably carve your pumpkin and arrange your flowers. Lay down some newspaper or a plastic tablecloth to catch any mess.

Using a sharp knife, carefully cut a lid from the top of your pumpkin. Make sure the opening is large enough to access the inside easily. If you are using a bowl, make sure your bowl snugly fits into the hole. Angle your cuts slightly inward, so the lid doesn't fall into the pumpkin. With a spoon, scoop out all the seeds and stringy bits from inside the pumpkin. You want a clean, smooth interior to work with.

Cut a piece of floral foam to fit snugly inside your pumpkin and/or water bowl. You may need to take your knife and shave down the sides to get a perfect fit. You want to avoid wiggle room so your arrangement stays in place and doesn’t tip over. If not using a bowl, place your plastic bag in the hollowed out pumpkin first to avoid the foam breaking apart.

Soak your foam in water. Use the float-soak method to hydrate floral foam with water that includes flower food. Lay the floral foam atop a basin of water and let it sink into the water by its own weight. Allow foam to fully saturate, which will take approximately 2 minutes. Place your fully soaked foam into your hollowed out pumpkin.

Now it’s time to start arranging your flowers. Begin by adding some greenery to create a foundation for your arrangement. Trim your greenery stems at an angle and insert them into the floral foam to create a pleasing shape.

Next, add your larger blooms. Mums and chrysanthemums are great choices for a fall-themed arrangement. Trim their stems and place them evenly around the foam.

Now, fill in any gaps with smaller blooms like roses or marigolds. These can add pops of color and variety to your arrangement.

Step back and assess your arrangement. Ensure its balanced and visually appealing. Trim any stems that are too long or out of place.

Find the perfect spot to display your arrangement. Whether as a centerpiece for your dining table or a charming addition to your porch, your floral pumpkin is sure to impress!

We are always blown away by the creative talent of the Dallas community and humbled by the difficult task of jurying The Bash with so much talent and limited venue space. We are so excited to share with you the lineup of this year’s Jingle Bash!

With makers from all over the metroplex and beyond, the variety of handmade wares you’ll find at The Bash this November spans from hand-forged silver jewelry to art created from upcycled books and everything in between.

The 2023 Etsy Dallas Jingle Bash, hosted by the Dallas Craft Collective, will be November 18th, 2023 from 10:30 am to 4:00 pm at Gilley’s Dallas.

Halloween How-To: Yarn Monsters

This fun Halloween craft came in handy at our Halloween party last weekend and I thought it’d be great to share. We have an annual Halloween costume party a couple of weeks before the holiday that is normally an opportunity for everyone to get sitters and have a fun kid-free party before all the trick-or-treating festivities towards the end of the month. Well, sitters fell through, and things happen, and we ended up with 4 bored kiddos at a party full of grown-ups.

After a scramble in the craft room we found some yarn and had googly-eyes from some decorations on hand and the kids had a blast creating monsters with each other (until they eventually found sticks in the yard and decided to sword fight).

What you’ll need:

• Yarn (a bulkier yarn will make sturdier monsters)

• Scissors

• Self stick googly eyes, or if using regular ones you will need glue

• Pipe cleaners

• Cardboard or poster board, cut to be ~6'“ tall and 4” wide, you can vary the height for different sized monsters

Start by wrapping your yarn around the cardboard lengthwise about 100 times. This will be the body of your monster.

Next, you will take your pipe cleaner and slide it between the yarn and the top of the cardboard. This will hold your yarn together and also form the antennas.

Then you will take your scissors and cut the yarn at the bottom of the cardboard.

Take the antenna ends and twist them together to secure the yarn at the top. Then take another pipe cleaner and wrap it around the yarn bundle about 1/3 from the top (~1.5” depending on how tall your cardboard was). You can continue to loop around the pipe cleaner so there are no loose ends, or you can hide them in the yarn bundle.

Next trim the bottom of the yarn bundle so all of the ends are even, this will give the monster a nice uniform look. Then you can start personalizing your monster but twisting and curling its antennas and giving it some eyes.

Artist Spotlight: A Purple Dream World

Looking for a quirky and creative artist to brighten up your day? Look no further than our interview with A Purple Dream World. Ashley Swihart is the artist behind these enchanting, surrealistic paintings and stunning woodturning. From their creative journey to what makes their pieces special, you'll get a glimpse into the inner workings of A Purple Dream World. So, buckle up and prepare to be inspired by this amazing artist!

Tell us about the products you make.
I make surrealist paintings, colored pencil drawings, decorative hand-painted skulls, and woodturning.

What is your favorite product that you create?
It's hard to pick a favorite, but I have a sweet spot for the surrealism I do, because I'm fascinated by that art movement, and each piece contains something meaningful to me in it.

Is there a story behind your shop/business name?
I've always loved the color purple since I was a child, and even my house is mainly purple decor. Growing up, I was nicknamed 'purple girl,’ so it seemed natural to name my passion after it.

What does your art-making process look like?
For the art, I don't plan my paintings or drawings; I freehand everything and don't use tools to assist. I feel that it adds a truly artistic touch when every stroke comes from my heart.

What led you to start your business? How did you get started, and how has the journey been so far?
I started my business because I had so many pieces of art just stacking up at home, and I was too shy to put myself out there and sell it. This Bash is a big step for me personally because it's introducing my art to the public.

How did you get to where you are today?
I've been doing art since I was a child. I even got in trouble countless times in school for drawing, and not completely paying attention to the lesson being taught. I went to Savannah College of Art and Design, which was one of my life's best decisions. I learned so much from other artists and was inspired by all of their talents. I took away a lot of encouragement to follow my heart and do what I love.

What was the first item you ever made/sold?
I made a massive ocean-inspired sculpture out of clay, painted in whimsical colors, and actually won the State of Ohio Youth Exhibition Governor's award for it. I was blown away because I had never been called a 'good artist’ or encouraged to push myself up to that point. A private party purchased it after it had been displayed in the State Capital building.

What makes your pieces special?
I put A LOT of myself into my pieces and do a lot of pieces that address issues such as mental health, which is a cause near and dear to me. I only make my art with love and passion, and I hope it can make someone smile or identify with the content.

Which of your pieces do you think make for a meaningful gift?
All of my pieces are made with such thought and deliberately created for a reason. I think that thoughtfulness and love hopefully translate to any piece.

How do you recommend using/styling your pieces?
I recommend blending the artwork with curiosities or oddities and quirky decor. The woodturning is more classic and can fit right into a natural vignette.

Describe your workspace.
My 'craft room' has basically exploded all over my house, as I sometimes like painting by the windows for light. I also have a full wood shop in my garage where I do the woodworking.

What do you love most about running your business?
I love that I'm finally following my passion, and I hope that gives my daughter the inspiration to do what she loves. I also like connecting with a creative community, and it makes me feel loved and accepted.

What inspires you, and how do you stay inspired?
I get inspired by life events and concepts in my artwork. I get visions in my head that I just have to get out onto the canvas or paper. I stay inspired because my art is my refuge. If I'm going through something, art is my therapy and makes me whole again.

What do you spend time doing when you aren't running your business or creating?

I have a full-time job, and I'm a single mother, so I stay pretty busy in the off times.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve received as an artist?
Never apologize for your art. That resonated with me because art is so personal, and nobody should feel they aren't good enough.

How do you overcome creative blocks?
I face a lot of these in my life as a full-time working single mom, so I ask my daughter to draw with me for fun, and I feed off of her creative enthusiasm and energy, and feel like, 'I can do this'.

What are the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I was told for the majority of my life that I wasn't a good enough artist, and people would be critical of my style and content. I never let that discourage me, because art is my love, and it didn't feel right in my heart to ever stop creating.

Why do you think people are drawn to your style?
I think they like the quirkiness and fantasy of the surrealism. For the wood turning, I believe it's the craft itself since it's becoming more and more rare to find those that still woodturn. My father and grandfather taught me how to woodturn, and my grandmother taught me how to paint, so I think those strong family roots also add to the appeal.

Who are your biggest artistic influences?
Hands down, Rene Magritte. His paintings are so curious and invoke so much conversation and speculation in each piece.

What couldn’t you do without?
I couldn't do without my daughter. She's my biggest supporter and inspiration to keep on going.

If you had a superpower, what would it be?
I wish I could fly. I'm scared of actually flying on an airplane, but just being able to fly myself, seems so freeing.

Is your shop offering anything new/special/different at the Bash?
I'll be offering a new collection of hand-painted skulls. Mainly inspired by Dia de Los Muertos, but also fun-free hand designs.

Anything else you'd like to share with us?
I also have a rescue dog that is part of my family. I'm passionate about animals, and she's such a delight to my family. Her name is Blanch, as in Blanch from the Golden Girls, LOL! One of my favorite shows.
